As 1 st time home buyers we had no idea what we were doing. This was our 2nd time trying to buy, 1st time we were out of state and she was willing to take family to the open house and FaceTime us. Unfortunately the market was crazy and we decided to wait a year. Now that we're ready again life was still busy. Half the time we just put our trust in Mary. We have a special needs daughter that takes up a lot of our time and Mary was patient when we wouldn't respond to text / emails about walk throughs. When I started working with Mary it was via telephone as I was still in California. She answered all of my questions and checked in with me periodically during the sale of my former home. She even helped me put in an offer on a home sight unseen. I ended up not getting that home so when I arrived out here, Mary was readily available. Mary helped me locate the best area that was in my price range to purchase a home. After my offer was accepted, Mary was always available to meet me at the home so I could set up contractors as soon as possible. It was extremely helpful to me! Her husband even stepped in and helped us check if a light was working properly. After the inspection was complete, she was able to negotiate a discount for my repair costs.
