Getting Your Arizona Real Estate License
Your path from education to practice.
Complete Your Pre-Licensing Education
Enroll in an Arizona-approved 90-hour salesperson pre-licensing course and complete the school’s required coursework and examination.
Complete the Contract Writing Course
Arizona also requires a six-hour Contract Writing course as part of your licensing education.
Obtain Your Fingerprint Clearance Card
Apply for the required Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Start this early so processing can take place while you complete other requirements.
Pass the Licensing Examinations
Schedule and pass the required general and Arizona-specific salesperson examinations through the state’s testing provider.
Apply for Your License
Submit your application, education certificates, passing examination reports, Fingerprint Clearance Card and other required documents to the Arizona Department of Real Estate.
Join a Brokerage and Begin Your Career
To practice, you’ll need to activate your license with an employing broker. We’ll help you understand the transition into CENTURY 21 Arizona Foothills and begin your onboarding.
