We found a house online and the 3D tour made us want to see it. We called the listing agent, who happened to be Matt Barker. We met Matt at the showing. He was friendly, and knowledgeable, respectful, and we felt he was genuinely trustworthy. We loved the house, and wanted Matt to represent us, knowing the potential risks of negotiating with a dual-agent. Matt did not let us down. He did an excellent job explaining and teaching us the purchasing steps to get the best deal for us. His recommendations for other professionals (inspections, financing contact, etc.) were great choices too. Matt got both sides through the closing with smiles all around.
Next, we had to sell our existing home. We were pleased to hear that Matt knew our old neighborhood just as well as our new neighborhood. We trusted him a second time to market our home. Matt Barker is excellent. Selling our home was a big decision for us, and he was patient and walked us through many different scenarios, offered timing suggestions, and gave us input on the market data on our home/neighborhood. This was very important as we wanted to consider every angle before moving forward. Matt was always available to answer our questions. All of this was greatly appreciated. He was willing to go the extra mile when things came up with showings and/or with buyer inquiries. He was genuine as we experienced some ups and downs as part of the process. Matt was on point through it all.
The overall experience was great as well. Because this decision was big, and emotional, for us, the team was patient and ready when we were. This was everything to us. I would personally like to thank Matt for his overall help during the selling of our home. Selling a home can be stressful. Even with the parts of it that the unavoidable stress may kick it you still put us at ease. I value how you involved us when needed and handled the behind the scenes stuff more than our previous realtor in the past. Despite the minor hiccups overall I feel that this process was very smooth. I’m hoping we set the bar high with beating your showings record (56 was it?) We wish you nothing but the best and you can consider this letter my firm hand shake and thank you for your help in this process. I would highly recommend Matt Barker. I live 240 miles away from the Estate house in Maple Grove I was trying to sell. Matt took care of everything. He met me at the house, did a walk through, coordinated his 'stagger' person to be there that the same time. They spent 4 hours staging the house exactly how they wanted it to. House looked awesome and we had a tremendous amount of showings in a very short time. 2 months worth of showing in the first 10 days. We received an acceptable offer a short time later even with the Corona Virus going on.
Matt's staff are just like him. Honest, caring, hard working, and easy to communicate with.
I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

In the end, I chose Matt because he was the only broker I talked to who actually has an evidence-based plan for monitoring feedback and making decisions about price, offers, etc. These data were incredibly important to us as we decided how to market the property.
After having chosen Matt, I then became aware that he's a GREAT and very service-focused broker. I came for the evidence plan and stayed because Matt is very dedicated to client service. The sale was logistically difficult (Covid didn't help) but Matt patiently and insightfully guided me through the decisions we had to make to get the property sold. I am EXTREMELY impressed by how hard he worked to make sure I got the best price I could. I feel very lucky to have worked with a broker as great as Matt!

Matt met all of our critical and important needs. We brought Matt in over 10 months prior to listing our house to ensure we were working with someone on the same page as we were, and to give us advice on how best to prepare and stage our unique home for sale. As a result we were fully aligned on the timing and the vision as we proceeded. Matt had Tara come to the house very early in our preparation process, which REALLY helped put the project plan and timing in place to prepare our home for sale. This was critical for us to attain our desired timeline.
The marketing package Matt and his team put together for our home was outstanding. We took pictures and a drone video in the Fall when everything was in full bloom and then updated them in the Spring prior to listing. The pics, video and 3D tour were phenomenal and enabled us to totally showcase our home virtually, communicating through pictures the way we actually lived and what we enjoyed so much about our home and property.
We would highly recommend Matt Barker and his team to anyone, but especially to those who have a need for stellar marketing.
