Matt called me soon after my internet request. I did not get a call from a telemarketing screener but from Matt personally. I know he is a very busy guy but he always took plenty of time.
As I reviewed each characteristic, I tried to not have all excellent marks. But, I realized Matt did excel in all of them. I have done many surveys over the years and this is the first that a good rating would have felt too low.
Staci did an excellent job also. We had a couple of small glitches but they got fixed quickly and accurately. With all the closings at the end of the month and Covid doing its thing, she kept ahead of schedule and closing was ready early and completed on time.
As an out of town seller for an estate, I didn't know how to price the home. I had communicated with several buyers and agents. After talking with Matt and looking at his marketing numbers, it gave me the confidence to list the home at a much higher price than I thought. Matt was right! We had many showings and offers and a signed contract on the 4th day.

I felt comfortable with Matt Barker as our realtor because my brother has worked with Matt on several occasions. Matt proved to be the perfect fit for us to sell our dads condominium. He was honest, open, supportive and professional. He came to meet us at the condominium and was willing to “mask up” because of Covid. He suggested the marketing strategy and kept in good communication. I am very pleased with the results.
All excellent! Will be calling on Matt Barker the next time we are looking for a realtor. The condominium looked beautiful in the pictures. Lionheart (recommended by Matt) was easy to work with and designed the unit wonderfully.
I would definitely recommend Matt Barker to friends and family. He made the process of selling our dad’s condominium much easier even during Covid! Matt was extremely helpful and knowledgable of all aspects of the sale of our old house and the purchasing of our current home. Our situation was a bit unique because we were moving because of a negative relationship with a neighbor and Matt helped us navigate everything that came with that: he guided us through the neighbor demanding easements, having property disputes, attempting to weaponize animal control and the police against us, trying to take part in the sale of our house, impeding the sale of our house, scaring off buyers, etc.., which resulted in us getting restraining orders. It was an extremely challenging time and Matt acted as a rock for us even when we knew that our situation was asking him to go above and beyond. Our situation made us feel like a burden and Matt and his team made us feel otherwise. We are very satisfied and wouldn't consider hiring anyone other than Matt and his team to help us in the future, though distant future since we are very satisfied with our current location.

Matt Barker is an amazing negotiator. He was able to get amazing results for us with the sale of our home. We ended up selling for 20,000 over asking price. When our buyer came up with a list of demands after the inspection that would have been impossible for anyone to meet, he helped talk the buyer down. We only had to do a reasonable amount of repairs from the long list because of Matt's calm, reasonable, and inarguable demeanor. He also helped us navigate an incredibly stressful legal property dispute with a unstable and very entitled neighbor who was bent on sabotaging the sale of our home. Matt helped us every step of the way with real estate lawyer recommendations, calming our fears, and being available whenever questions came up. He was our rock during this incredibly stressful legal battle.
